The Zapruder Film

Based upon various theories, what do you think about the possibility of more than one shoter? Why was JFK assassinated? Here's a YouTube Zapruder film for you to view. What do you think?

  1. I don't think it's only one person. By the video, there must have been one shooter who shot from the back as the car was going. Then another person parallel with the car right as it was going by to shoot a dead straight shot at kennedy.

  2. I really only see one shot and that is in the head. I think that there may be some other shot before the shot in the head, but i truly only see one shot being made. I think there may have been another shot before because it seemed like he was hold his chest, but i truly am not sure.

  3. I think that it would be more than one person because you can't guarantee that the one shot is going to hit him perfectly. Also there are more than one shots fired. This leads me to believe that at least two people participated in the assassination.

  4. From the normal speed video, it looks like JFK gets shot once. When the video gets slowed down to slow mow, it looks like he gets hit first in the neck from the back and then in the head on the side. From what I saw from the video, I think that more than one person were responsible for JFK's death.

  5. To me it looked like the two shots were from two different locations. The first shot appeared to hit from a different angle then the second. It seems to me that a team of two assassins were in on that killing.

  6. from what i seen in the video it really did look like only one shot regular speed. But then once i looked at it in slow motion and zoomed in you could tell that it was more then one shoot. But i think it was probably more then one person.

  7. At normal speed it seemed like JFK was already hurt. I personally think that something this tragic had to be planned and had to have one then one person involved.

  8. The assassination of JFK

I feel that there were 3 shots and there is a chance we have two killers. The first shot hit kennedy in the back and then in the head. the angle of shot that hit him in the back made me think that there has to be another shooter hiding somewhere in a another building. I suspect Lee Harvey Oswald might not be the only assassin

  10. I think that it was a big conspiracy. Many have speculated over the years as to how it happened. One of the things that happened was a secret service agent had to catch up to the car Kennedy was in. The secret service is never late to protect the president. I think that a shot came from a sewer and a shot from the "agent" that had came late to the car. I think he wasnt really a service agent I think he was part of the murder and was in disguise

  11. From the video i see that it looks as though JFK was shot before the bullet hit his head so i suspect that somebody else besides Lee Harvey Oswald was involved in killing him.

  12. I thought it was really interesting how fast Jackie reacted. I, and I think many others as well, would've been in complete shock. Right away She turned around to get the CIA person from the back of the car. She might be a part of it. She could have totally been involved because she doesn't seem surprised at all.

  13. When I saw the Zapruder Film, I saw in the normal and slow motion it looked like JFK was shot once while he was waving to the crowd. Near the end of the film, I noticed Jackie Bouvier was trying to escape from the vehicle after Kennedy was shot.

  14. i think that he was shot twice, first in the chest and then in the head. you can see him grab his chest right before you see the shot to the head.

  15. JFK appears to be shot twice. In the slow motion video you can see something that hits him from the back which is when his wife comforts him and then seconds after he was shot again in the head. I believe that this was a very planned out thing, it wasn't just some random person in the crowd that disliked him and just shot him.

  16. I think that there were multiple shots fired at JFK because of the video portrays Kennedy being hurt before him being shot directly in the head. I believe that there were more than one shooters scattered around the area where JFK was going to be that day which led to his assassination.

  17. I believe that there was more than one person involved in this assassination. I believe that someone from the government shot him and used a cover up, by saying it was someone else.

  18. I think that there was no way that there was only one shooter. it must have been three shooters. There was probably Cuban involvement in the Kennedy assassination because Kennedy had been trying to kill Castro and he was trying to watch his own back

  19. I do believe that there was more than one person involved in the shooting. The way the shot happened seemed to planned to just be one single person. When the bullet(s) impacted him he moved in one direction then another. There was probably at least two bullets from two different directions.

  20. i believe that several people were probably working on the conspiracy for this because of all the evidence described in the video. the video is in low definition but i think a few shots were made do achieve accuracy for the conspiracy and to add to the confusion.

  21. I believe that there were multiple people involved in JFK's assassination. I think that the people who shot him had the same views on his actions and that this assassination was planned to be done. I think there could have potentially been a team whom wanted him dead and out of the presidency. Then they had either two or three of the people shoot him.

  22. It doesn't seem ridiculous to think that JKF was shot more than once. Whoever planned the assassination clearly did so excellently because they were not identified. Such person, or persons, would probably want to assure the assassination went to plan. Thus three shooters would be better than one to make sure JFK was killed. So, I think JFK was shot more than once, because it was such a planned assassination.

  23. I think that there were definitely at least two shots fired at Kennedy because of the multiple directions he was thrown in when the shots hit him. Possible motives for killing Kennedy could be to make sure LBJ becomes president and because of Kennedy's view on the Vietnam war. Also, could this have any connection to the assassination attempts on Castro at the time like a payback?

  24. I think that it is definitely possible that there was more than one shooter. After the conspiracy theories, it seems very plausible that there was more than just one person involved. I don't know whether to believe that it was a government cover-up or if there were just more associates of Oswald, but I do not think that he acted alone. It seems too suspicious that this was around the time of important discussion about Vietnam to be a random hate-shooting.

  25. I think that there was more than one person involved in planning the assassination because it is a big deal, if they had planned to kill Kennedy. but I only see one shot, even in the slow video I cannot see the second bullet. I think that someone in the Government might have been involved in his assassination, but they might have hired someone else to kill him. Maybe they were not agreeing in what Kennedy had planned out in his Presidential carrier.

  26. for their to be just one person is highly improbable. the shots are incredible shots in general. for a person to make that shot twice quickly is very hard to do. plus kennedy goes back then to the side meaning at least two shots from two different places. also team work on an assanitation usually brings the highest results. look at the movie vantage point

  27. I think there were multiple shots fired at Kennedy because after seeing it in slow motion, you can see he was shot in the chest and then in the head. I don't really know who I think shot Kennedy but it was probably Oswald because evidence leads to him. He also tried to renounce his citizenship. I think the motive probably has to do with Vietnam.

  28. Currently, its rather hard to say whether Kennedy was killed by multiple bombers or not...however I can give the following information

    1) Given the era, it would be extremely difficult to attain such high levels of accuracy at multiple points. Thus, given NO other information with which to draw conclusions, you already know you'd need multiple skilled marksmen working in coordination, which would be very hard to conceal.

    2) The theory has been tested multiple times (Mythbusters, Gov..etc). With the conclusions suggesting that the shooting positions (other than the primary grassy knoll) wouldn't offer good protection=people would have seen the shooters.....

    Has merit:
    1) Soviets/Vietnam issue(s) 2) Castro attempted murder 3) (6) shots=very hard (but not impossible) to shoot in 6 seconds.

More evidence supports it was one shooter, compared to multiple.

  29. From the looks of the video, it seems like there was at least two shots that hit Kennedy. When they were driving, Kennedy was slouched over and his wife was helping him and he was leaning towards her. Then there was a second shot where you could see a burst of blood near his neck or chest. Therefore there were must have been multiple shooters to assure Kennedy was shot from at least one of the three angles.

  30. I definitely believe there was more than one person involved. There was more then one shot heard which leads me into thinking that there was at least one other person at a different angle involved in the shooting. Kennedy was assassinated because people were mad at him with the decisions he made about the Vietnam war.

  31. My opinion is that there was more than one person responsible for JFK's death. I don't think that only one person could have taken on a task like that by them self. It looks as though there were at least to shots fired because of JFK's movement. There are many conspiracies as to why he was murdered, but the most common one is the decisions he had made about the Vietnam war.

  32. i think that JFK was shot in the back and then in the head, possibly each by different, unrelated conspirators.

  33. There was most likely 2 or 3 people who contributed to the death of John F. Kennedy. I believe that there were 3 separate shooters, all accurate and in-depth with their partners since they were able to synchronize such a dangerous task. I think "JFK" was shot by three separate people and they could possibly have been part of the government. Therefore I think it was a conspiracy.

  34. I think the assassination only involved two gun shots. These shots are pretty obvious to see. The second shot you actually saw go right through his head. It was pretty graphic. I think the shots came from only one man. It was a one man mission there was not a team of people involved I believe but it is not clear enough to tell completely it could have been the maximum of two people.

  35. I believe there were three shots. From what I heard in the video, playing it at least 3 or 4 times I heard not clearly enough but I am pretty sure I heard 3 loud bangs. I think It went from maybe front to back, from back to front and then he went forward to back again. I am pretty sure there were three shots fired that day. I think only one person contributed to the death of JFK.

  36. After watching the film about JFK's murder, it is clear that more than one person was involved. Throughout the film, it gave evidence that the shooting had to be pin point. This involved a lot of science that could not have be done by one person. Kennedy was a wanted man because of Castro. I believe Castro had a major influence on JFK's death.

  37. I definitely believe that there was more then one shot from different directions. From what we learned in class it does not seem possible for one person to shoot so many shots in such a short period of time. This visual only backs that up showing his body movements and the loud shots that are heard.

  38. I think that there were two or more shooters involved in the assassination of Kennedy. After viewing the video, I noticed that after the first impact he jerked back and then almost immediately he jerks in another direction.

  39. Upon watching the Zapruder film, I felt that JFK had been shot only once. Due to the lack of a second jerking movement of his body in a different direction, which would indicate two bullets each from different locations, it seems to me that there was just a single shooter. While the shooting may have been plotted with various other people, I do not believe that various other people participated in the actual assassination. My belief is that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

  41. After watching the zapruder film it seems like there was more than one person who shot at JFK. At normal speed it looks like only one shot, but when it is slowed down, it is clear JFK jerks in two different directions. First, he jerks forward, so the shot came from behind the car, then he jerked at an angle backwards, meaning someone shot from an angle. I think the assassination was planned by multiple people and with multiple shooters.

  42. After i analyzed the film a few times i only seen that there was only one shot taken that was noticeable enough to see and i believe that the shooter acted alone on this because of the angle in which the video is from. that is a lack of evidence showing that he was shot more than once and from the video i believe it was only one shot.

  43. I do believe that there was more then one shooter in the assassination of JFK. When watching this video and also a couple others I found on youtube, it appears very clear that the two sots were from two separate places. the first shot came from the side that JFK was sitting in the back seat. But, the second shot appears to come from the opposite side from a tall building.

  44. I cannot say weather i believe if there was more than one shooter. Honestly, it is extremely hard to tell, or believe, what happened. I do believe though, that he was shot from the school book building, because they did find shell cases there from a gun.

  45. I do believe that there where more then one person involved in the JFK shooting , because both of the shots came from two different angles.
